WHAT IT DOESLOG

  • Visitor on a phone

→ Page loads fast, reads clearly

  • “Can I book?”

→ Booking or enquiry in two taps

  • Price change

    → You edit it yourself

  • New enquiry

→ Straight to your inbox or CRM

“Your website was built years ago, is slow on phones, and you’re not sure anyone gets past the homepage.”

SOUND FAMILIAR?

What makes a good small business website?

A good small business website tells a visitor what you do, where you do it and what it costs to get started, within a few seconds, on a phone. Then it makes the next step easy: book, call, order or send an enquiry. It loads quickly, works for everyone, is easy for you to update, and is built so Google and AI search tools understand it.

That sounds obvious, yet most small business sites miss at least one part of it: slow on mobile, a contact form that quietly fails, prices nobody can find, or a design that can’t be changed without ringing the person who built it. We build sites for businesses and individuals that do the selling while you’re busy, and that you can look after yourself.

EXTRASNONE HIDDEN

Who we design websites for

Businesses and individuals who need a site that brings in work, not just a page that exists.

  • Trades and home services

Plumbers, electricians, builders and cleaners: service areas, photos of real jobs and a quote form that asks the right questions.

  • Salons, barbers and beauty

Treatments, prices and online booking that works on a phone.

  • Restaurants and cafés

Menus that load fast, opening hours that are right, table bookings and allergen information.

  • Shops and makers

Online shops with payments, delivery options and stock you can manage yourself.

  • Professional services

Accountants, consultants and therapists who need to look trustworthy and take enquiries.

  • Individuals and new ventures

Freelancers, coaches, artists and side businesses who need to look established from the start.

A GOOD FIT IF…

  • Your current site is slow, dated or hard to update
  • You’re starting out and need to look established
  • You want enquiries, not just a brochure
  • You’d like an AI assistant on it from day one

What we do, start to finish

  • Pages planned around your customers

We start from what visitors ask and in what order, then design the pages to answer it.

  • Design you approve first

Real designs with your content, shown on a phone and a laptop, before anything is built.

  • Fast and accessible

Built for speed on mobile connections and checked for accessibility, so more people can use it.

  • Forms and bookings that work

Enquiry, quote or booking forms with spam protection, tested end to end.

  • Search and AI basics

Titles, descriptions, sitemap and structured data, so search engines and AI tools understand the site.

  • Editing you can manage

Change prices, hours, photos and news yourself, with a short guide to show you how.

  • Analytics with consent

See which pages bring enquiries, set up to respect your visitors’ privacy choices.

  • Care after launch

Optional hosting, security updates and small changes, so the site stays fast and safe.

How we design your website

Four stages, and you approve each one before the next starts.

  1. ORDER 001START

    1×What it needs to do

We agree what a good visit looks like (a booking, a call, an order) and plan every page around getting there.

  2. ORDER 002BUILD

    1×Design

You see real designs with your own words and photos before anything is built, on a phone as well as a laptop.

  3. ORDER 003CHECK

    1×Build

Fast, accessible and mobile-first, with simple editing for the things you’ll want to change yourself.

  4. ORDER 004GO LIVE

    1×Launch and look after

We move your domain, check every form, set up search basics and, if you like, look after hosting, updates and small changes.

What your website can connect to

A website is more useful when it hands enquiries and bookings to the tools you already run your business on.

How much does a small business website cost?

Every site is quoted individually because two five-page websites can be very different jobs. These are the things that move the price.

WHAT AFFECTS THE PRICE

  • Number of pages

A one-page site, a five-page site and a site with a page for every service and area are different jobs.

  • Selling online

Payments, products, delivery rules and stock management add design and testing.

  • Bookings and integrations

Each tool the site connects to needs setting up and testing.

  • Words and photos

Supplying your own is quicker; we can write the copy and arrange photography if you’d rather.

  • Moving from an old site

Redirecting old pages protects the search traffic you already have.

  • Care after launch

Hosting, updates and small changes as an optional monthly plan.

YOUR QUOTE · FIXED AND IN WRITING

Your quote is fixed and in writing, in your currency, before anything starts. Domain and hosting costs are set out separately so you can see exactly what you pay to whom.

How long does a website take?

Websites take longer than an assistant or automation, mainly because of words and photos. Every quote includes a timeline in writing.

Shops and sites with bookings or many pages take longer, and your quote says how much.

TYPICAL TIMELINE

YOUR QUOTE HAS THE REAL DATES

  1. 01 INTRO CALL AND QUOTEA FEW DAYS

What the site needs to do, then a written quote with scope, price and dates.

  2. 02 PLAN AND DESIGNA WEEK OR TWO

Page plan and designs with your content, for your approval.

  3. 03 BUILD AND TESTA FEW WEEKS

Built, checked on phones and laptops, forms tested end to end.

  4. 04 LAUNCHA DAY

Domain moved, old pages redirected, search tools told.

Website design questions

Something else? Ask in the chat. A person answers.

How much does a small business website cost?

It depends mostly on how many pages you need, whether you sell online, what it connects to (bookings, payments, a CRM) and whether we write the words. We quote every site in writing, in your currency, before any work starts. The quote form asks the questions that matter and takes a couple of minutes.

Can I update it myself?

Yes. We set up simple editing for the things you’ll want to change: prices, opening hours, photos, news.

Do you do online shops?

Yes, from a handful of products to a full catalogue with payments and delivery options.

What about my domain and email?

We can move your existing domain and keep your email working, or set new ones up. The domain stays registered in your name.

Is web design still worth it when there are website builders and AI tools?

Builders and AI tools are a fine start for a simple page. A designed website earns its cost when it has to win enquiries: it loads fast on a phone, answers buyers’ questions in order, makes booking easy and is built so search engines understand it. If a builder would genuinely do the job for you, we’ll say so.

Can ChatGPT design my website?

AI can draft words and suggest layouts, and we use it where it helps. It can’t decide what your customers need to see first, check your forms really arrive, or take responsibility for the result. That judgement is the part you’re paying a person for.

How long does a website take?

A small brochure site is quicker than a shop or a site with bookings and integrations. Your quote includes a timeline in writing, and the most common delay is waiting for words and photos, so we tell you exactly what we need on day one.

Will my website show up on Google?

Every site we build has the search basics set up properly: clear titles, fast pages, a sitemap and structured data. Ranking for competitive searches takes more than a launch, which is what our local SEO service is for.

Can you add an AI assistant to my website?

Yes. An assistant can answer questions, take bookings and collect enquiries on the page, and hand over to you when it isn’t sure. It can be built in from day one or added later.

Do I own the website?

Yes. The domain, the content and the accounts are set up in your name. If you ever want to move it elsewhere, you can.
